Od 1 lipca można umawiać wizyty u kardiologów, na mammografię oraz testy na HPV, a od 1 sierpnia dojdzie osiem kolejnych specjalności.
The pilot project of the system started in January. Medical institutions were supposed to connect by the end of May. Those who did not do so began to lose NFZ funding for the relevant services.
Now the system shows patients available dates not only in their clinic but also across the country. Appointments can be made through the Patient Internet Account (IKP), the mojeIKP app, by phone, or in person at the facility.
Starting in August, primary visits to an angiologist, vascular surgeon, infectious disease specialist, endocrinologist, hepatologist, immunologist, nephrologist, neonatologist, and pulmonologist will be available through the system. The full transition of all 39 specialties is planned to be completed by the end of 2027.
If there are no available spots, the patient will be placed in an electronic queue. When an appointment becomes available, the system will notify them via SMS or email. Starting in October, a voice bot will be available for people without internet access.
According to the Ministry of Health, 1.7 million visits have already gone through the system, and another 1.2 million are scheduled. Users generally rate the service positively: 96% find it easy to search for appointments
At the same time, the main question remains: will the system be able to redistribute patients from overcrowded clinics to those with available spots, or will the queue simply move from the reception desk to the phone screen
