The police in Gdynia detained two residents of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, suspected of a series of burglaries and attempts to steal Alfa Romeo cars. One of them was caught red-handed during another attempt.
The investigation revealed that the men, aged 42 and 47, operated according to the same scheme: they selected cars, analyzed the time and place, and then attempted to bypass security systems. The police conducted operational work, reviewed camera footage, and identified the suspects.
During the arrests, they seized equipment for breaking into cars. The total damage is estimated at nearly 500,000 zlotys.
The detained individuals face up to 10 years in prison.
