Blogger Łatwogang arrived in Gdańsk: over 20 million złoty raised during the event and two charity collections closed

Influencer Łatwogang (Piotr Hanke) arrived in Trójmiasto on Sunday evening — the final destination of his charity bike ride. He set off from Zakopane on Friday to support fundraising for the treatment of seriously ill children

During the trip, two charity collections were completed. In total, over 20 million zlotys were raised since Friday, while the third — the most challenging — collection for the treatment of 2-year-old Wojtuś, who needs 15.4 million zlotys, is still ongoing

For most of the journey, he was raising funds for 8-year-old Max, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). By Sunday morning, 12 million zlotys had already been raised for his treatment, and a few hours later, the second collection — for 4-year-old Adaś — was closed.

“Yes! There are 3.5 million zlotys. Thank you all. This is how it’s done,” said Łatwogang during a live broadcast after reaching the goal of the second collection. After that, he launched the next campaign — for Wojtuś’s treatment.

The influencer noted that choosing whom to help first among children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy is not easy

“If I could, I would help all children with this disease,” he said

According to him, the third collection turned out to be the most difficult: 15.4 million zlotys are needed, while the child’s family has managed to raise only about 65 thousand. That is why it was decided to support this campaign specifically.

The organizers emphasize that all the funds raised are directed towards gene therapy for children
