The visit of Ales Bialiatski is scheduled as part of the Kościuszko Forum, which will take place on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:00 PM at the European Solidarity Centre (ECS)
During the event, Ales Bialiatski will be honored with the European Solidarity Centre's Prize for Solidarity and Human Rights. This honorary award is given to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the protection of human rights — both in civil society and in the fields of culture, science, and education. By recognizing the Belarusian human rights defender, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, the organizers emphasize his role in promoting historical changes in the field of human rights
A special event for the Belarusian community and all interested parties will be an open meeting with the Nobel laureate, which will take place on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:00 PM at the European Solidarity Centre (ECS), in the multifunctional hall on the first floor. The meeting will be conducted in Belarusian with translation into Polish. Admission is free. During the meeting, Ales Bialiatski will share his experiences and views on the current situation regarding human rights.
