The changes also include strengthening oversight of companies that conduct technical inspections and the diagnosticians working there
The starosts will gain new powers
According to the project, the starosts will receive the authority for direct supervision of technical inspections
Their responsibilities will include, among other things, maintaining the register of diagnosticians — from adding a specialist to the register to suspending, restoring, or completely revoking the right to conduct technical inspections.

The project provides for the reform of the system for training specialists who conduct technical inspections
The Director of the Institute of Motor Transport (Instytut Transportu Samochodowego) and the Director of the Transport Technical Supervision (Transportowy Dozór Techniczny) will be responsible for organizing seminars for instructors working in diagnostic training centers
Additionally, it is planned to regulate the activities of the training centers themselves
The Ministry of Infrastructure notes that the work of such institutions is currently hardly regulated by legislation and is not under appropriate supervision. The new regulations should establish clear rules for their operations.
Control over entrepreneurs and organizations that prepare diagnosticians is to be transferred to the Transport Technical Supervision.
