A shocking case of animal cruelty has occurred in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Police from Wejherowo, together with inspectors from OTOZ Animals, discovered a dog that was tied with a short rope to the leg of a bed and lived in unsanitary conditions. The animal has already been rescued and placed under the care of specialists.
Local residents reported possible animal abuse. Police officers and representatives of OTOZ Animals arrived at the scene.
In the apartment, they saw a dog tied to the bed frame with a rope about 1.5 meters long. According to the inspectors, the animal could hardly move freely and had been in a dirty and neglected room for a long time.

The animal was taken from the owner
The dog was immediately seized and placed under the care of OTOZ Animals. It is currently receiving veterinary assistance and being provided with safe living conditions.
The police continue the investigation and are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. According to preliminary data, the 36-year-old owner may face charges of animal cruelty.
