After the rains and storms, a sharp warming will begin in Poland. According to meteorologists’ forecasts, from July 29, a strong heat wave will hit the country, which may last until August 8. The temperature in most regions will remain at around 32–35 degrees, while in the west, south, and central parts of the country, it may reach 40 degrees in the shade in some places.
The heat will be particularly noticeable due to the large amount of sunshine and lack of precipitation. Meteorologists do not rule out new temperature records
Earlier in late June, Poland already recorded extreme heat: in Słubice, the temperature reached 41 degrees, and in Toruń — around 40 degrees.
During the heat, specialists advise avoiding walks during the hottest hours, drinking enough water, and not leaving children and animals in closed cars
