The incident occurred on Sunday evening, April 26. The first conversation revealed that the woman was in a state of severe disorientation: she could not provide her personal information and did not remember where she lived.
It later turned out that her body temperature had dropped below 35°C, which poses a serious threat to life and health. An ambulance crew was called to the scene and transported the woman to the hospital. At the same time, the police began to establish her identity. They managed to find out her address and contact her relatives, who were informed about the incident.
The police remind us of the importance of paying attention to elderly people: it is necessary to maintain regular contact with them and respond to any alarming signs. Relatives should ensure the safety of older family members — for example, by providing information about their whereabouts, supplying them with cards containing contact information, or wearable identification bracelets.
