Installation of the Museum of the Moon

From June 23 to July 4, an unusual art installation Museum of the Moon can be seen at Centrum św. Jana. Within the walls of this Gothic architectural monument, a seven-meter model of the Moon, created by British artist Luke Jerram based on real NASA images, will be displayed.

The Baltic Opera Festival opens on July 1 and will last until the 7th. Starting from July 1, a film festival under the open sky will kick off in Sopot — the longest summer film festival in Poland. Audiences can look forward to over 150 free film screenings and meetings with filmmakers in an unusual location: on the coast in Sopot.

The Ziaja Cup beach volleyball tournament is an integral part of Sopot's summer sports program. In three summer rounds of the competition, players will compete for prestige and cash prizes.
In the upcoming season, three tournaments will take place: on July 4, July 18, and August 1, 2026. Each tournament follows the Open formula and has a limit of 24 teams. To participate, you need to register your team online, and the registration fee is 50 zlotys per pair.

Energa Nord Cup Regatta

Until July 5, the Energa Nord Cup Gdańsk 2026 regatta is taking place. As part of the competition, on Saturday, July 4, from 11:00 to 12:00 (depending on the decision of the race judge), there will be a spectacular race for the Bursztynowy Puchar Neptuna. The best place to watch the competitions on the water is from the beaches at Stogach and Wyspa Sobieszewska, and you can also get to the starting point at the marina in Górki Zachodnie.

Historical Festival «Wisłoujście 1628»

On the first weekend of July, the Wisłoujście Fortress will once again transform into a living garrison town of the 17th century. From July 3 to 5, the Gdańsk Museum invites you to another historical festival «Wisłoujście 1628,» dedicated to the naval battle that took place nearly four hundred years ago at the fortress walls. On the night of July 5 to 6, 1628, the fleet of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Gdańsk was attacked by Swedish forces — this clash became one of the most important episodes in the struggle for dominance in the Baltic Sea.
Hundreds of reenactors from Poland and other countries will participate in the event. Guests can expect spectacular reenactments of battles, displays of drill training, artillery, and camp life, as well as educational areas and workshops

Truck Rally

Exhibition «Zakaz fotografowania»

On board the museum ship Sołdek, the exhibition «No Photography. The Sea through the Lens of Karol Przybyła» is presented. The photographs transport viewers into the world of ports, shipyards, and maritime routes. The exhibition features large vessels and military ships, port cranes, docks and shipyard workshops, as well as marine landscapes, sailing ships, and sunken ships underwater.
A meeting with the author Karol Przybyła will reveal the stories behind the most striking shots: about places closed to outsiders, working with maritime infrastructure, collaborating with sailors, as well as the patience and perseverance without which these photographs would not have come to be

Theater by the Sea

During the summer holidays, Teatr Miejski in Gdynia moves outside its building, with the main stage traditionally set up on the beach in Orłowo. The season will kick off with the premiere of “Batory. Transatlantic love story” directed by Michał Walczak. One of Poland’s most renowned playwrights and directors will take the audience on a wild journey — filled with music, absurdity, irony, and the atmosphere of a night flight where anything can go awry. It’s a story about dreams of distant travels, summer fantasies, and adventures that linger in memory for a long time.

Ferry to the Vistula Spit

From May 1, the ferry from Gdańsk's Świbno to Mikoszewo in the Stegna municipality has resumed operations. This is a convenient and quick way to get from Gdańsk towards Krynica Morska, shortening the route by 23 kilometers
From May 1 to September 30, the ferry operates daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Under standard conditions, departures are every 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, the service switches to continuous operation to transport all interested passengers. The specified time refers to departures from the Świbno side.
